What we verify and enforce
Professionals consent to a criminal background screening as part of onboarding. Screening scope varies by state and service type — jobs that carry stricter statutory requirements are only released to professionals who satisfy that state's rules.
Government photo ID and legal-name confirmation are captured at onboarding and matched against the professional's tax and credential paperwork before their account can accept a single job.
Certifications, state licenses and notary commission numbers are reviewed by our team against the issuing body's record, including commission expiration dates. Expired credentials suspend dispatch automatically.
Commissioned notaries provide proof of bond and errors & omissions coverage. For specimen collectors, occupational liability coverage is recorded when a certificate is supplied.
Card details are entered directly into Stripe's hosted payment elements and never touch FieldFlow servers. Professionals are paid out through Stripe Connect, and refunds are issued back to the original payment method.
You see the service price, travel tier and any add-ons before you pay — quoted from your ZIP code, not estimated after the visit. No surge pricing, no post-appointment surprise line items.

Every job has a tracking page with live milestones — dispatched, en route, arrived, collected, delivered to the lab — plus GPS and timestamp entries recorded by the professional.
Specimens are sealed and routed to the laboratory named on your order in tracked chain-of-custody packaging. When a service requires notarization, the app records a GPS and timestamped entry on your file.
Your record is visible only to the professional assigned to your job. Access is scoped per job and logged. This describes the controls we enforce in product, not a third-party audit or certification.

Before an account can accept work, our team reviews the professional's government photo ID, their certification or license with the issuing state, and — for notaries — the commission certificate and expiration. Their name and photo appear on your job before the appointment.
